                          TuneECU è gratuita e possono essere distribuiti gratuitamente.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
For some time, some online auction platforms offer complete sets with cable, TuneECU Software,
instructions and maps. These providers do not act on our behalf.
The team TuneECU dissociates from these suppliers, as we have no control over what is passed

Attenzione: If this software is not correctly applied, the engine can be destroyed.
                      At use of this software, under certain circumstance can invalidate your warranty.
In the database provided custom maps can be viewed only as a basis for a tuning on a suitable
dynamometer. Because every engine is different, least should be a test run with A/F curve, If you want
to have joy on your engine for a long time.

TuneECU è un programma SW completamente FREE, e che permette di programmare direttamente la CENTRALINA MOTORE E.C.U. (Engine Control Unit) tramite un'interfaccia software ed un cavo standard USB-OBDII.

Attualmente il programma è disponibile solo per i motori Triumph a 2, 3 &4 cilindri, KTM, Benelli & Aprilia ed
in particolare:

• Computer:  PC o netbook, Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7/8 (32 or 64 bit), USB 2.0 o superiore)
  e display 1024x576, .NET Framework da 2.0 e verso l'alto.
• Cavo per il collegamento con l'unità di controllo motore (ECU): USB / Cavo OBD con set
  di chip FTDI (D2XX) e CDM di 2.06.00 driver o superiore.

  Drivers limitation for the USB-Tuneboy-cable:     
  The TuneBoy cable works only with the ancient FTDI driver from TuneBoy's own site.
  The hardware id of TuneBoy cable is different vs. a generic/TuneECU FTDI cable.
  So even though both cables have same chip, TuneBoy cable needs the matching driver.

• Connection with Walbro ECU:
  only a serial cable RS232, a serial port on the computer, and AMP-Super-Seal-connector-6pin
  is required.
  Maybe You need nor a USB/RS232-converter. This converter is required if your computer has no
  serial interface (RS232) has.

• TuneECU on a MAC computer ?
  You will need a way to run Windows (preferably XP) on your Mac. This can only be done on those
  running an Intel Processor (so if you've got a (very) old one, you're out of luck).
  
  There are different ways to do this:
  
  
• Dual boot (Bootcamp)
• Virtualbox
• VMware Fusion
• Parallels

1. Leggere attentamente il manuale utente alla sezione "Map Edit" per acquisire una adeguata
    familiarità con il programma prima di iniziare ad usarlo

2. Resistere alla tentazione di modificare valori prima di comprendere a pieno quello che si sta facendo

3. Assicurarsi di essere in possesso della mappatura corretta per la fascia di VIN a cui la propria moto
    appartiene e delle sue specifiche

4. Se non si è esperti nella modifica di sistemi EFI, limitarsi ad usare le mappe OEM Triumph o le mappe
     alternative consigliate e resistere alla tentazione di modificarle

 6. Non caricare/scaricare mappe sulla/dalla ECM senza essere certi che la batteria della moto sia
    adeguatamente carica and disabilitare o spegnere le luci della moto durante queste operazioni,
    anche eventualmente rimuovendo il fusibile.
    Occasionally it happens that the download is interrupted, although we have kept strictly to the
    instructions.
    It turns out that it comes to these interruptions, when the battery voltage falls below 12,5 volts,
    even when connected a battery charger. Apparently the power of modern chargers is not sufficient
    to avoid a voltage drop.

    It works perfectly when a second 12-volt car battery is connected.
